49 Y10 & 11 students and 5 members of staff travelled to Barcelona from the 12th to the 16th of December. We had a fantastic time and did a wide range of activities, including the Picasso Museum, Nou Camp, the Aquarium, the gothic quarter, Gaudi’s famous Sagrada Familia basilica and Parc Guell, not forgetting a brilliant flamenco lesson in which everybody took part! The weather was amazing for December and allowed us to do lots and lots of walking – this was not a trip for the faint hearted! There were plenty of shopping opportunities and lots of students tried out their Spanish with gusto! The pupils were a real credit to the school and we are hoping to organise another trip to Spain in the near future…
